One Typical Auroville Night

Midst darkness lightning strikes!
No warning.
Shadowy figures revealed in hiding.

A tangled mirror-play of infinite beings
Dancing to never-ending becomings.
And We are That, the Eternal and Infinite.

Now back to this planet
As Homo sapiens the limited
Yet conscious of the trending target:

"The whole earth must prepare itself for the advent of the new species, and Auroville wants to work consciously to hasten this advent."

Here's some Divine Sense from the Mother:

"It has always been said that it is impossible to change one’s nature; in all books of philosophy, even of yoga, you are told the same story: “You cannot change your character, you are born like that, you are like that.” This is absolutely false, I guarantee it is false; but there is something very difficult to do to change your character, because it is not your character which must be changed, it is the character of your antecedents. In them you will not change it (because they have no such intention), but it is in you that it must be changed. It is what they have given you, all the little gifts made to you at your birth—nice gifts—it is this which must be changed. But if you succeed in getting hold of the thread of these things, the true thread, since you have worked upon this with perseverance and sincerity, one fine morning you will be free; all this will fall off from you and you will be able to get a start in life without any burden. Then you will be a new man, living a new life, almost with a new nature."

Which She has reiterated to the individual Auroville invitees:

"The first necessity is the inner discovery in order to know what one truly is behind social, moral, cultural, racial and hereditary appearances.

At the centre there is a being free, vast and knowing, who awaits our discovery and who ought to become the active centre of our being and our life in Auroville."

And from that first necessity, the Mother widens Her prompt to a planetary, species-level change (see No. 5 and 6):

Her Guidance is for who? 

"A selected few who will be pure gold."

Who "will be able to manifest strength without violence, heroism without destruction and courage without catastrophe."

Obviously not for the passive oblivious nor the violent, self-destructive ones. But each must play one's unique role in this Great Hall of Mirrors.

In there also are clear enough warnings of what is already happening, observing the increasingly chaotic yet metamorphic global scene.

* "Must prepare"... "hasten the advent" of the divine species beyond the human.

No small advice coming from the Dual Avatar themselves. They even created this concentrated cauldron, this City of Dawn, so one can experience it all, from the brightest to the darkest, to be pushed to the limit, to be finally compelled to consent, to Something else.

"In them you will not change it (because they have no such intention), but it is in you that it must be changed."

I have seen the building of Auroville as concurrent with the Supramental Vision-Goal since even before its inception in 1968. It is a collective Integral Supramental Sadhana unfolding in space-time toward the Divine Manifestation—a process that will take a few more generations.
