What is the Good Will for?

Getting straight back to the point of “good will” for anyone wishing to engage in Her Auroville, the Mother continues:

"But it’s not man who is going to convert himself into a superman!

No?

Just try a little! (laughter)

You see, it is something else that is going to do the work.

Only—yes, there is an ‘only,’ I don’t want to be so cruel: NOW MAN CAN COLLABORATE. That is, he can lend himself to the process, with good will, with aspiration, and help to his utmost. Which is why I said it will go faster. I hope it will go MUCH faster.

Crystal clear enough, isn't it?

Thus the creation of Her Auroville the City of Dawn for the conscious preparation that will take many more generations of awakening humans who will offer themselves as willing instruments and servitors of the Divine, thereby hastening the advent of the new species the Supramental being.

The “good will” is specifically for that and not for the mere benefit of the transitional human that is still in an undivine modality of existence, already decreed by the Supreme for conversion or transformation. Or to the materialist, Homo sapiens is, as with any terrestrial species, subject to the evolutionary imperative. Looking at the pitiful state of the poor humans, who half sane and awakening individual would not want to evolve as fast as possible from that?

Thus the Supramental Avatar Sri Aurobindo and the Mother came to sow the effective Seed of Change for a New Divine World, even initiating Auroville the City of Dawn, inviting the weary and the ready to consciously participate: 

“But, to live in Auroville, one must be a willing servitor of the Divine Consciousness.”

For what again?

"The whole earth must prepare itself for the advent of the new species, and Auroville wants to work consciously to hasten this advent.

Little by little it will be revealed to us what this new species must be, and meanwhile, the best course is to consecrate oneself entirely to the Divine."

To reiterate, this is the specificity of the Dual Supramental Avatar's Auroville.

States of Consciousness

I have seen the building of Auroville as concurrent with the Supramental Vision-Goal since even before its inception in 1968. It is a collective Integral Supramental Sadhana unfolding in space-time toward the Divine Manifestation—a process that will take a few more generations.
