In the Thick of It All

Welcome to this one planet that we all share: Earth.

All these violent upheavals that create suffering puts a spotlight on the obvious limitations of our human mode of existence: that in our ignorance and relative powerlessness as Homo sapiens, we are still slaves and playthings of undivine and anti-divine forces.

Although the awakening Divine Spirit within us finds this unacceptable, we are also all That in our inherent Oneness, however dark. And we offer it all to the Supreme Divine Mother for transformation to the Divine Light and Love, Beingness, Consciousness-Force and Bliss.

With that surrender and consecration to the Supreme the True Understanding and Vision-Goal of Auroville as per its Avatar founders Sri Aurobindo and the Mother become crystal clear for the sincere aspiring individuals:

"Man is a transitional being, he is not final." ¹

"The object is transformation..." ²

"The whole earth must prepare itself for the advent of the new species, and Auroville wants to work consciously to hasten this advent." ³

"...and the transformation can only be done by a force infinitely greater than your own; it can only be done by being truly like a child in the hands of the Divine Mother." ²

"Little by little it will be revealed to us what this new species must be, and meanwhile, the best course is to consecrate oneself entirely to the Divine." ³

In the meantime, in the "in between and transitional stages" of the ongoing hastened and intensified Supramental rEvolution not just here in Auroville but the whole Earth, Aphorisms 320 and 321 apply to the undivine ego-bound anarchist humans:

"320—Governments, societies, kings, police, judges, institutions, churches, laws, customs, armies are temporary necessities imposed on us for a few groups of centuries because God has concealed His face from us. When it appears to us again in its truth and beauty, then in that light they will vanish.

321—The anarchic is the true divine state of man in the end as in the beginning; but in between it would lead us straight to the devil and his kingdom." ⁴

The necessity of Auroville evolving as the legislated Auroville Foundation under the support, administration and protection of the Government of Mother India is now clearly understood, taking into careful consideration the quality required behind the avataric vision of a gnostic community in a City the Earth needs designed for fifty thousand inhabitants.

We can now confidently continue on with our consecrated works consciously preparing for the progessive manifestation of the soon coming Life Divine on Earth.

"But, to live in Auroville, one must be a willing servitor of the Divine Consciousness." ⁵

"But something has happened in the world’s history which allows us to hope that a selected few in humanity, a small number of beings, perhaps, are ready to be transformed into pure gold and that they will be able to manifest strength without violence, heroism without destruction and courage without catastrophe." ⁶
