The Quickening

"Because we are at one of the 'hours of God' as Sri Aurobindo puts it—and the transforming evolution of the world has taken a hastened and intensified movement."

This was already happening in 1967. 58 years ago. Most of us here in Auroville know why because of the 29th February 1956 Supramental descent. Fast-forward to now Circa 2025. Rapid changes in all fields of inner and outer sciences and their manifest expressions have obviously happened and are happening, including whirlwind advancements in InfoComm Technology, concurrent with the turmoil resulting from the resistance of the old world forces and beings, including humans, to these ever-hastening and intensifying changes.

Only a false-separative ego-sense will try to exclude something it does not like or understand from the Play. But lo and behold, it comes back like a rubber band in some form or another until integrated and transformed. Oneness in diversity means that whatever is present at any particular point in time on Earth is an integral part and parcel of the progressive evolutionary movement of everything else towards the unstoppable emergence of the New Supramental World. Thus the inner and outer pains and sufferings associated with the ego-bound being fighting its falsely perceived as-if separate selves.

That is why the constant reminders of the necessity of a change of consciousness, the understanding and dropping of this false-separative ego-mind, to then see in a consciousness of Oneness the unfolding integral evolutionary movements and act accordingly. Many in the new generation are even born with this capacity, with very awakened psychic beings, ready to work consciously in a collaborative and co-creative manner the preparation of Auroville in accordance with the explicit directives of our Avatar founders Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. Still in human bodies with basic and particular needs, they just need conscious support. But some of the old-timers do not even want to acknowledge this, creating all sorts of resistance to change. What's the point of even participating in this City of Dawn if you are not willing to engage 100% with the Supramental Vision-Goal of our Avatar founders?

The integral point is that each must fully play one's unique role in the thick of it all, however dark or bright, in joy or in pain, dancing, wrestling, co-learning and co-evolving with each other, with the Supreme Divine Mother modulating us all Her beloved children.

We continue on with the Quickening towards the Divine Manifestation of the new apex species the Supramental being.

"The whole earth must prepare itself for the advent of the new species, and Auroville wants to work consciously to hasten this advent. 

Little by little it will be revealed to us what this new species must be, and meanwhile, the best course is to consecrate oneself entirely to the Divine."

    Is it to satisfy little personal needs that you have come to Auroville? That was really not necessary. The ordinary world is there for that.

    One comes to Auroville to realise a divine life which wants to manifest on earth.
    Each one should make an effort in this direction and not remain hypnotised by the so-called “needs” which are nothing but personal fancies.
    Look upward and forward, strive to surmount the animal human nature. Make the resolution and you will see that you are helped on the way.

    To follow all the impulses of the lower nature is surely not the supramental way and has no place here.
    What we want is to hasten the advent of the supramental, not at all to fall into the ugly condition of a humanity full of desires and low impulses.

    Auroville has been created for a progressive superhumanity, not for an infra-humanity governed by its instincts and dominated by its desires. Those who belong to the infra-humanity, the animal humanity, have no place here.
    Auroville is for those who aspire for the supramental and make an effort to reach there.

    Everybody has to progress and become more sincere. Auroville has been created not for the satisfaction of the egos and their greeds, but for the creation of a new world, the supramental, expressing the divine perfection.

    Auroville has been created for a superhumanity, for those who want to surmount their ego and renounce all desire, to prepare themselves for receiving the supermind. They alone are true Aurovilians.
    Those who want to obey their ego and satisfy all their desires belong to a subhumanity and have no place here. They must return to the world which is their true place.

The Supreme Divine Mother MahaShakti

A dear friend asks, "I would like you to explain to me once more how the Mother, as Mahashakti for you, could challenge all the gods and goddesses of the creation to become the 'boss' in this active world.  You talked once about a cosmic work of surrender, it was so interesting."
