The Epic Supramental Story

In our recent discussion on what the ego is, an Aurovilian shared the symbolic ego-role of Karna as member of the Kaurava clan in the Mahabharata and the ensuing Kurukshetra War with the Pandava clan of warrior Arjuna and Krishna, the Avatar of that time. Here you can continue on with my enquiry.

Now we move on to the most recent Avatar in this Great Cosmic Play, the Lila, of the One and Only, paradoxically also the Many.

For the Eternal and Infinite the ego is an experience. And as in any other experience, at some point in the progressive perfection of the being — with the constancy of impermanence and an infinity of "something else" as inherent features and options of Its Play, Its non-limitation of becomings — the false-separative ego-experience becomes a bore. For any transitional being, eventually, redundancy sets in, and then obsolescence. Disgust is somewhere in the middle mixed up with all sorts of experiences.

As evolutionary markers in the chronology of time-born events, every incarnation of an Avatar means that an existential crisis has been reached in the Play of whatever current modality of existence or beingness, and a new level of consciousness-force is to be infused in the Field of Play that will eventually culminate in a new modality of beingness, a totally new manifestation.

Thus the birth of the Supramental Kalki Avatar Sri Aurobindo and the Mother (1872 and 1878) was in perfect timing up to their full blossoming to coincide with World Wars I (1914) and II (1939) and the Cold War (1947), happening before the Decreed Seeding Day of the New Supramental Consciousness-Force and Light on 29 February 1956. Every existential crisis after then would only be the last gasps of the adverse and hostile forces (up to this ever-forward-moving Now) prior to the Divine Event, the advent of the Supramental being and Its New World based on a totally new vibratory modality of existence.

This whole ongoing scenario is based on the integral understanding of the inseparability of Sat--Chit-Shakti--Ananda, the Being--Consciousness-Force--Bliss as none other than the Play, the Playing Field, the Players and the transitional rules of the Play, as an Eternal and Infinite Experience of Progressive Perfection of the Being involved in and as the Play for not just the sufferings and joys but the Bliss, the Ananda, of It.

This Spiritual Evolution of the One and Its Many is perpetual and unstoppable.

Our evolutionary stage as the transitional human being in the Grand Cosmic Scheme of Things can be seen and understood as the Exposition, the Rising Action and the coming Climax of the Mental-Supramental Age. We can also simply call it The Supramental Story.

All this is no secret to many here in the Auroville of the Avatar Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, from just carefully reading, understanding, living and progressively experiencing this City of Dawn's Three Integrated Core Vision-Goals of "A Dream, Auroville Charter and To Be a True Aurovilian", even auspiciously situated within Mother India aka Bharat Mata Herself, the Guru of Nations, as Protectress. And not to mention all the Dual Avatar's documented revelations and guidance, now all easily available online in digital format. No more excuses for the Ignorance.

We each inseparably continue on with our uniquely perceived and lived experiences, wherever we are, and here in Auroville as player archetypes from more than 60 nations in progressive dynamic interaction...
