"A line from Savitri constantly haunts or assails me—it’s when the Lord proposes that she come live a blissful life above, and she replies, “No, there are still too many battles to wage on earth.”

That went deep into me, and it returns each time difficulties arise, as if to say, “Don’t complain.”

Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, Supramental Kalki Avatar founders of Auroville

59 years of intense battles and churnings of all sorts passes quickly in the dynamic process of building the City...

17 Mar 2025:

The Supreme Court of Mother India has officially concurred in continuing with the building of Auroville, the City of Dawn.

Observation:

In a Deva Sangha of a Gurukulam the collective dynamics of the cumulative proactive works is the Sādhanā itself, building up to the manifestation of the shared Vision-Goal, whatever particularity that is in any collective endeavour.

Auroville's radical and revolutionary Vision-Goal must be clearly stressed, that is, a conscious participation and preparation for and hastening of the advent of a new apex species beyond Homo sapiens. Without a clear understanding of this paradigm-shifting Vision-Goal any participant in Auroville will be lost in simply maintaining the old human ways.

Our integrated Three Core Ideal Vision-Goals are very clear, but how many so called "Aurovilians" are dutifully following them?

Thus the so called "war" or wrestling or dancing (probably why we even have salsa and tango and all sorts here in Auroville) and the building of the City itself are just processes of our collective Sādhanā towards the deep understanding of phenomena, Self-realisation and the intense Truth of Divine Love and Oneness in Diversity, the significance and necessity of Surrender and Bhakti to the Supreme Divine Mother, and the eventual inner and outer perfection that is the Divine Manifestation of the Supramental being.

Each must and is playing one's unique role, one's Swabhava and Swadharma, fully, totally, consciously or otherwise, with appropriate consequences.

We all as One Unfolding Self-correcting Movement continue on...

Towards the Life Divine.

The Supramental Solution

This Sunlit Path of Surrender or Bhakti has always been the anchor of Auroville’s Three Core Ideal Vision-Goals. ¹ But surrender to who and for what? A Shared and Lived Divinity
